Job Description:

Review all the projects specifications & engineering documents related to scope of work including (Layouts, Shop Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, PID, Loop Drawing, Logic Diagram, Isometric Drawings, Installation standard,...etc.). Participate in developing and implementing the quality control processes and procedures for various electrical systems like ITP, Check list, MoS,….. etc. Inspect all the materials delivered to ensure that they completely match with the approved material as well as the project specifications. Perform on-site inspections and tests on transmission and distribution systems, ELV systems (fire alarm, CCTV, ACS, BMS, audio visual, lighting control…), Data communication systems (active and passive) and associated components to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Ensure that all quality control activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Identify and resolve quality findings and non-conformities through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, observations, and recommendations. Responsible for the QC documents of the complete project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QC documents. Assist project’ team in ensuring knowledge of all quality standards, compliance with all quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems. Perform on-site inspection on suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of transmission and distribution systems, ELV systems (fire alarm, CCTV, ACS, BMS, audio visual, lighting control…), Data communication systems (active and passive), and associated components, standards, and codes
  • Proven experience as a QC Electrical Engineer or a similar role (+ 5 years)
  • Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in conducting inspections, tests, and measurements on electrical systems and components
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in electrical engineering and quality control
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
