Requirements

Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control within food or packaging sectors
Solid understanding of BRC, ISO 9001, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and analytical approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for reporting and record-keeping
Clear communicator with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Job Responsibility

Investigating and responding to customer complaints
Carrying out route cause analysis as necessary
Raising and investigating internal non-conformances
Interdepartmental meetings/communication to ensure continuous improvement and effective process control
Monthly Quality Reports
Overseeing the day to day activity of the Quality Assurance Technicians
Participating in and preparing for all external audits (Customer and BRC)
Assisting with Internal Audit Programme
Managing Hygiene Inspections
Training as required with the QA Manager and the Head of Training and Standards

Responsible for the release of incoming raw materials and components per applicable local procedures. This may include support for labeling dispositioned raw materials and components with appropriate status indicator labels
Ensure a safe and quality working environment through training, awareness, and compliance with safety/Quality guidelines and SOPs
