Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with development and product teams to align testing with features and timelines, contributing to early planning and ongoing quality checks
Design and execute comprehensive test plans using Confluence, Jira, and Xray, covering manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and APIs
Investigate edge cases, validate client-server interactions, and ensure robustness through detailed test coverage
Monitor results, report issues, and support resolution throughout the development lifecycle, continuously improving QA processes
Support the team in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving quality issues throughout the development lifecycle and production issues
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as a QA engineer
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices for manual testing (automation is an advantage)
Experience with web application testing and mobile testing
Familiarity with testing tools like Postman and API testing is essential
Hands-on experience working with Xray for test case management, tracking bugs, and ensuring test coverage
Experience with SQL and relational databases (Postgres experience is an advantage)
Thorough in testing, ensuring that edge cases are handled appropriately
Able to work according to the Austin, Texas time zone (UTC−06:00, Central Time (CT))
