Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality of our websites and mobile apps. You will be involved in every stage of the development process, from designing test plans to executing automated and manual tests. Your role will include giving the final approval for the release of new features, as well as collaborating with developers and business analysts to maintain a seamless product development cycle. You will also be proactive in writing automated tests and ensuring any escaped issues are addressed with new tests.

Job Responsibility:

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for product features and functionalities
Write and execute test scripts for API testing
Build and maintain manual and automated Build Acceptance Test (BAT) suites for multiple projects
Support production releases and generate detailed reports
Collaborate with developers on code reviews and test case reviews
Assist developers in debugging and troubleshooting issues
Work closely with business analysts to clarify requirements and create test cases
Operate within a fast-paced agile development environment

Requirements:

2 - 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Testing
Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Ruby, or Python) with the ability to read and understand code
Expertise in testing tools such as Postman, ADB commands, BrowserStack, and project management tools like Asana or Trello
Proficient in databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA processes
Excellent communication skills
Thorough knowledge of Agile methodologies

Nice to have:

Experience as an Agile developer
Familiarity with LAMP stack environments
Hands-on experience with CI tools
RESTful web services testing using SoapUI (professional version)
Proficient in programming with Selenium RC (WebDriver), Groovy Scripts, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, and PHP
Experience managing and setting up cloud-based test environments
Ability to create plug-ins and add-ins for tool integrations (e.g., SoapUI, Redmine, Jira, Testrail, Slack)
Familiarity with server monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Keynote, Gomez, and Nagios
Performance and load testing experience
