Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with leadership capabilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, leading QA initiatives, and mentoring the QA team. This role requires hands-on testing expertise along with strong communication and leadership skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan, design, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for web and mobile applications
  • Perform manual and automation testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
  • Ensure full test coverage based on requirements, specifications, and user stories
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Postman (API Automation) etc
  • Implement continuous testing within CI/CD pipeline
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring adherence to QA processes and best practices
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including BA, development, DevOps, and product teams
  • Review test documentation and provide guidance on process improvements
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Drive quality and process improvements in QA methodology, automation coverage, and defect management
  • Define and monitor QA metrics (test progress, defect density, automation coverage, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent
  • ISTQB Advance certification
  • 6–10 years of experience in software testing including at least 2 years in a lead or senior role
  • Strong experience in manual testing and automation testing
  • Hands-on experience with: Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
  • Hands-on experience with: TestNG / JUnit / NUnit
  • Hands-on experience with: Postman / Swagger for API testing
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with: JMeter / LoadRunner (optional but preferred)
