Requirements

5+ years of experience in QA automation, SDET, or quality engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
Solid experience with API testing and backend validation
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of SDLC, test strategies, and quality engineering best practices
Ability to independently own and deliver test automation for complex systems
Experience with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, Postman, Gatling, JMeter, or similar
Experience testing distributed systems, cloud-native applications, or data platforms
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Job Responsibility

Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites across API, backend, and UI layers
Build and improve test frameworks, utilities, and tooling
Ensure tests are fast, reliable, and maintainable
Reduce flakiness and improve signal quality in CI pipelines
Own test strategy and automation coverage for one or more product areas
Partner with engineers to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria
Participate in design reviews to identify test risks early
Validate bug fixes, edge cases, and regressions before release
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Ensure test failures are actionable and visible
