Job Description

Senior Python Integration Engineer (SCORM / LMS) - Contract | 3 Months Initial + Potential 12 month extension - £400 - £600/day - Fully Remote (UK/EU timezone preferred) - Strong likelihood of extension or long-term/ permanent opportunity (if preferred) for the right person. Minimum requirement: SCORM experience. We’re working with a fast-growing AI startup focused on enterprise AI adoption and workforce enablement, helping large organisations embed AI into day-to-day workflows at scale. The business is now looking for a senior hands-on engineer to architect and build a critical SCORM/LMS integration layer for enterprise clients within financial services. This is a highly hands-on role suited to someone comfortable owning integrations end-to-end within a startup environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Architecting and building SCORM integrations
  • Backend API development
  • SSO/authentication flows
  • Learner progress/completion tracking
  • Analytics/event syncing
  • Enterprise platform integrations
  • Working closely with product and engineering leadership
  • Helping shape integration architecture as the platform scales

Requirements

  • Strong Python backend engineering experience
  • Proven SCORM 1.2 integration experience
  • Experience integrating external platforms into LMS environments
  • Strong API integration experience
  • SSO/authentication knowledge
  • Comfortable architecting and building solutions end-to-end
  • Startup mentality and high ownership approach
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously
