Job Description:

Vention is a global engineering partner to tech leaders and fast-growing startups, combining 20+ years of product development expertise with an AI-first approach and a reputation for reliable delivery. We've been building Python solutions since 2011, using frameworks like Django, Flask, FastAPI, Pyramid, and Tornado to deliver fast, scalable applications. With around 200 engineers on the team, we cover a wide range of use cases — from web platforms to data-driven systems.

Job Responsibility:

Develop reliable, scalable solutions with a focus on delivering high-quality, production-ready code
Take part in the full software development lifecycle, including application logic, architecture, and feature implementation
Engage in team activities such as Scrum ceremonies, demo sessions, and Idea Talks
Contribute to project estimation, technical planning, and roadmap discussions
Conduct code reviews and write comprehensive test coverage to ensure maintainable and robust code
Support the continuous integration of new technologies and engineering best practices
Optionally, participate in technical interviews, mentor team members, and contribute to dev2dev sessions or external meetups

Requirements:

4 + years of hands-on experience in web development in Python
Practical experience with such frameworks as Flask and Pytest
Experience with Google Cloud Platform
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy
English proficiency at B1 level or higher, with experience communicating with English-speaking clients
A proactive mindset and a strong interest in staying current with the latest trends in Python development
