The Digital S/W Engineer Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role that applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow. The role involves integrating subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area and requires understanding how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function.
Job Responsibility:
Execute and drive mid-size feature application design and development efforts
Serve as a development lead on medium-scale projects
Analyze and troubleshoot coding, application performance and design challenges
Research root cause of development and performance concerns
Resolve defects
Participate in design discussions as a Development Lead
Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake, Python, Spark, and Databricks on AWS
Implement ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue, Airflow, Spark, and Databricks
Work with AWS data services like S3, RDS, Redshift, EMR, and EKS
Integrate Snowflake with AWS services and Databricks for data warehousing and analytics
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in data engineering
Expertise in cloud databases such as Amazon RDS, Google BigQuery, Azure SQL Database, and Snowflake
Skilled in programming languages such as Python, SQL
Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and query optimization
Experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, and cloud-native services
Hands-on experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
Experience with data warehousing and analytics platforms
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments
Expertise in AWS data services (S3, RDS, Redshift, Glue, EMR, EKS)
Strong skills in Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, data modeling, and query optimization
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (AWS Glue, Airflow, Spark, Databricks) and distributed processing frameworks (Spark) on AWS
