Job Description:

As a Senior Python Developer, you will be a key part of one of the most strategic projects within a major financial institution in the Nordic region. You will develop and implement solutions for credit risk management and capital calculations, and work closely with the product team to understand and translate requirements into practical solutions while independently leading features and activities.

Job Responsibility:

Lead major activities and serve as a product expert
Develop and design solutions for the product
Collaborate closely with product management to understand and define requirements
Develop Python software utilizing libraries such as Pandas and Polars

Requirements:

Has 5–7 years of experience with Python programming, with the last 2–3 projects focused on Python
Has experience with libraries such as Pandas and Polars
Has experience working with APIs, orchestration, and caching techniques
Can work independently and lead large activities and projects
Has experience working with solutions on cloud platforms
Is fluent in English, both spoken and written, as you will be part of a global team
Has a valid work permit allowing you to start the role as soon as possible

Nice to have:

Experience with credit risk models (IRB)
Proficiency in a Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish)
Experience in banking or finance
