Job Description:

We’re building high‑performance APIs and microservices that connect data platforms with customer‑facing experiences. These services support: Low‑latency identity resolution; Real‑time profile lookups; Next‑best‑action decisioning. You’ll join a long‑term project focused on performance, scalability, and delivering fast, reliable backend services that sit at the core of this new architecture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and develop Python-based APIs and microservices to support customer profile lookups, identity resolution and profile stitching, intent scoring and next-best-action decisioning
  • Build low-latency, high-availability services to support in-session routing across business units
  • Integrate APIs with: Data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), Middleware/data layer, Analytics and event pipelines (e.g., Segment)
  • Implement caching, throttling, and fail-safe mechanisms to ensure performance and resilience
  • Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and compliant with consent and privacy requirements
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, analysts, and product teams
  • Support deployment across DEV, QA, STAGE, and PROD environments
  • Contribute to logging, monitoring, and observability for production readiness

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of hands‑on software engineering
  • Strong Python backend experience
  • Strong API development (design + build)
  • Strong microservices experience
  • Advanced AWS
  • Expert SQL, especially MySQL
  • Experience working with enterprise‑level, high‑traffic APIs
  • Ability to build scalable and low‑latency services
  • Senior‑level ownership: independent, proactive, able to understand context and drive work without supervision
