Job Description:

Vestas Global Procurement is responsible for all strategic procurement activities within Vestas, including negotiations, contract management, cost out initiatives, leading cross functional teams, strategy development, and supplier relationship management. The position as Sr. Purchaser in Indirect Material Procurement APAC team will cover Business service commodities within APAC region. This role gives you a great opportunity to develop your procurement profile and join a team of experienced strategic purchasers, commodity leads and specialists.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead purchasing indirect commodity i.e. business service, including RE/FM and professional services commodities within business and manufacturing operation of Vestas in APAC region
  • Manage the procurement related activities in the cross functional team and secure alignment with relevant stakeholders in relation to e.g., project planning, costing, and supplier risk and performance management
  • Supplier selection, qualification, negotiation and contracting and supplier relationship management, including supplier account plans, and performance management
  • Supplier consolidation to ensure supply chain optimization based on total landed cost, strategy and roadmap development with cross function team
  • Deliver the KPIs: EBIT, continuous cost out initiatives technically and commercially through the whole value chain, PPV

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with min 8+ years of working experience within similar role within manufacturing industry (preferrable)
  • In-depth knowledge and exposure to strategic procurement or a degree in either business or engineering
  • Proven record of significant stakeholder management skills
  • Good with Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel) (required) and SAP S4HANA/ Ariba expertise
  • Excellent communication skills in English
