Job Description

TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) are currently recruiting Senior Psychologist in a leading HSE hospital in Sligo. This a part time role with a permanent HSE contract. Purpose of the role: Develop the delivery of a hospital based psychology service for stroke survivors in line with service plans and objectives and within established professional standards, guidelines and policy.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification (PHD or equivalent)
  • Chartered PSI registration
  • DOH validation if qualified outside of Ireland
  • 5 years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology, no more than 3years of which was spent in gaining the post graduate professional qualification and no less than 2 years full-time spent in post qualification experience as a professional psychologist
  • Experience of working as a psychologist with adults
  • Experience working with patients with physical health needs, as inpatients or outpatients in an acute hospital setting or in a community setting
  • Experience in the provision of assessment, formulation, intervention, evaluation, reporting and supervision with a broad range of clinical problems in terms of complexity and severity seen in people with physical health/ medical conditions, including stroke as relevant to the role
  • Valid visa or right to work in Ireland is essential for this role (sponsorship cannot be provided as it is a part time post)
