Job Responsibility:
Offering technical aid to the project implementation design team/construction group
Designing protection and control schemes, encompassing tripping logic, I/O schedules, GA’s, and wiring diagrams
Creating main protection & connection diagrams
Formulating single line diagrams
Participating in technical discussions with clients and subcontractors
Engaging with internal design team, client, and contractors as required
Examining designs and making suggestions
Determining protection / relay settings and logic
Preparing relay settings and logic
Tender assessment and cost approximation for protection
Creating phasing diagrams
Requirements:
Demonstrable protection and control experience
Engineering Degree and ideally be professionally accredited or in the process of achieving CEng
Thorough understanding substation design
Ability to take Client requirements from bid documents, decipher Protection & Control blueprints to facilitate the generation of step-by-step interface reports and sketches, the stipulation and creation of additional equipment (such as batteries, chargers, LVAC panels etc.), along with the competency to devise mechanical and electrical locking systems
Capability to conduct in-depth technical discussions and performance assessments with clients
