Randstad Defence are seeking a Senior Proposals Operations Manager to lead our client's most critical, high-value Defence and National Security tenders. You'll be managing large Defence and National Security portfolios throughout the entire Proposal Development Lifecycle, leading the development of comprehensive proposal plans in line with ASDEFCON. You will report to the Growth and Strategy Group Director and partner closely with a supportive team of proposal specialists and business development managers to communicate compelling customer focused solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Lead Large-Scale Tenders: End-to-end management of complex Defence and National Security bids
Navigate the intricacies of Australian Government procurement for highest-value opportunities
Identify and engage top-tier SMEs to build a formidable bid team
Direct Win Strategies: Facilitate storyboarding and strategy sessions
Drive Quality & Governance: Oversee end-to-end production process
Stakeholder Alignment: Chair structured kick-offs and reviews
Requirements:
Minimum NV1 Security clearance
prior experience working with Defence/ASDEFCON highly regarded
Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, or Communications) or industry-recognised certifications (e.g., APMP)
Proven experience managing large-scale Australian Defence proposals
Ability to motivate and coach dispersed multi-disciplinary teams under tight deadlines
Exceptional stakeholder management skills
Uncompromising eye for detail
Deep understanding of consulting, financials, and program management within the global defence context
Must be an Australian Citizen and currently hold (or be eligible to maintain) an NV1 Security Clearance as a minimum
