We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join a big industry name as a Package Underwriter/Senior Underwriter. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world’s largest property and casualty insurers, renowned for its extensive product offerings, exceptional financial strength, and superior client service. Job Responsibility:

  • Underwriting new business and renewals in line with defined underwriting guidelines, budgets, and business plans
  • Representing and promoting the company to brokers, internal stakeholders, and external clients
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers and clients through proactive engagement and external visits
  • Contributing to the development of products to enhance client retention and attract new business
  • Mentoring, training, and coaching junior colleagues to build a high-performing underwriting team

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the insurance market, particularly in multiline property and casualty underwriting
  • ACII qualification preferred
  • Strong technical and business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of corporate underwriting, the insurance market, and competitors
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with brokers and clients
  • Leadership, mentoring, and people development experience is preferred but not essential
