This role will be focused on property accounting within our team. The workplace is designed to foster collaboration and innovation.

Job Responsibility

  • Conducting regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Overseeing the month-end closing process
  • Applying your expertise in property accounting to manage and oversee the financial aspects of our properties
  • Conducting audits to verify the accuracy of our financial information
  • Managing accruals to ensure financial statements are up-to-date and accurate
  • Utilizing Yardi software in the management and accounting of properties
  • Proactively taking action on open purchase orders to ensure financial accuracy

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of property accounting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in property accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in month-end close procedures and account reconciliation
  • Extensive experience using Yardi property management software
  • Previous experience in conducting audits in the property accounting field
  • Strong understanding and experience in handling accruals in accounting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
