Senior Property Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting for a two-building commercial property undergoing major renovations and upgrades. This is a hands-on role with exposure to property operations, lease administration, and project accounting—plus strong opportunities for growth as the portfolio expands.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle property accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Set up new and renewal leases in MRI/PMX and assist with lease administration
Prepare construction draws and monitor project-related costs
Handle accounting for leasing commissions, tenant improvements, and capital projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of commercial property accounting experience (preferred)
Proficiency with MRI (web version/PMX) strongly preferred
Strong understanding of lease structures, tenant billings, and CAM reconciliations
Highly organized, proactive communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
