We’re seeking a Senior Property Accountant to lead the day-to-day accounting for a two‑building commercial property currently undergoing significant renovations and upgrades. This role offers hands-on exposure to property operations, lease administration, and project accounting—with excellent opportunities for career growth as the portfolio continues to expand.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle property accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Set up new and renewal leases in MRI/PMX and support lease administration activities
Prepare construction draw packages and track project-related costs
Oversee accounting for leasing commissions, tenant improvements, and capital projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of commercial property accounting experience (preferred)
Proficiency with MRI (web version/PMX) is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of lease structures, tenant billings, and CAM reconciliations
Highly organized, proactive communicator who excels in a collaborative, team‑focused environment
