We are seeking an experienced Platform Services Technology Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale initiatives that empower our engineering and product teams. The Platform Services Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of platform infrastructure projects–planning hardware replacements, data platforms, and cloud services–ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. As the “glue” bridging technical teams and business stakeholders, the Platform Services Project Manager will drive infrastructure improvements and updates that enable faster product delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Scope & Lifecycle Planning: Define project goals, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives while managing the critical path, resource allocation, and complex dependencies
Stakeholder & Platform Partnership: Collaborate deeply with Product and Engineering teams to deliver reusable platform components, ensuring that internal infrastructure scales alongside business growth
Communication & Compliance Reporting: Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, delivering transparent progress reports, requirements documentation, and audit trails to satisfy internal standards
Execution, Risk, & Change Management: Proactively monitor milestones and manage scope changes, developing contingency plans to mitigate risks and leading user adoption efforts for new platform features
Operational Excellence & Tooling: Develop and implement standardized best practices and project management tools to streamline execution, improve team velocity, and ensure consistency across the platform services org
Continuous Improvement & Post-Mortems: Lead comprehensive project post-mortems to analyze both successes and failures, translating those insights into formal recommendation reports and long-term process improvements
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise and motivate project team members and contractors, influencing them to take accountability for their work and fostering a culture of high performance
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is strongly preferred
Experience with fashion retail industry operations and IT systems is highly desirable
Experience in platform modernization or cloud migration projects
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Atlassian Cloud - specifically Jira and Confluence, Miro, Monday.com)
Proficiency with Google Workspace
