We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join the Industrial Defender professional services team. This is a remote position. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall implementation and deployment of Industrial Defender's leading OT security and compliance product suite for our global customers. You will be on the leading edge of securing and protecting vital critical infrastructure and industrial operations such as electric utilities, oil & gas, chemical, and manufacturing industries from cyber threats. The Project Manager will be the customer’s primary point of contact during the project phase and will ensure appropriate communication among the entire project team and stakeholders. The Project Manager will orchestrate planning meetings with customers, manage the project scope and risk, provide guidance to the service team, manage project plans and schedules, and handle resource scheduling and tracking. You will ultimately ensure a successful outcome and the deployment of the solution to the customer’s satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Engineer to identify and understand all customer requirements and project deliverables
Obtain, understand, and confirm customers' expectations of the Industrial Defender solution
Work with customers to guide and plan Industrial Defender solution implementation
Educate customers on the Industrial Defender solution
Create and manage project plans and schedules
Identify and manage project risk
Manage and monitor all deployments closely with the service team
Ensure the project team follows through on the deployment approach and checklist
Manage all aspects of deployment from kickoff to close-out
Ensure project success and minimize project risk and interruption on customer systems
Respond quickly to customer inquiries
continuously look to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
Champion and advocate for customers' project needs
Ensure proper project tracking for time and expense for financial reporting
Manage multiple customer projects concurrently
Assist the sales team with the creation of statements of work and expanding service offerings to customers
Ability to travel to visit customers occasionally
Requirements:
BS degree in Computer, Information Systems or Engineering related field preferred
Strong interpersonal, customer service and decision-making skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
5 - 8 years of successful experience managing customer project implementation with strong security or networking technology exposure
Self-directed and motivated, with ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Nice to have:
Experience with NERC CIP and DHS CFATS regulatory requirements
Industrial Control System (EMS/DCS/SCADA) experience
