Responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of non-technical business initiatives to ensure that goals and objectives of projects and deliverables are accomplished within specific timeframes and funding parameters
Leads cross functional global supply chain project teams to manage a variety of initiatives and participate in the definition and execution of project activities of high complexity
Coordinates the planning, management and execution of multiple related projects that are directed toward the same strategic objectives
Records and monitors program/project actual costs vs. program/project budget
Identifying variances to plan and developing appropriate mitigation plans
Ensures trends and inconsistencies in project goals/objectives are clearly identified and impacts to resources, processes, and technologies are documented and actioned, as appropriate
Partners with departmental leadership and key stakeholders to develop appropriate mitigation actions based on the program priorities
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Drives new or changed tools and processes to move the department forward
Builds consensus among multiple project teams relative to project scope, task execution, staffing and issue resolution
Ensures the quality and integrity of program work products
Has the ability to manage resources toward common goals
Facilitates change through leadership
Motivates others through setting priorities and objectives
Defines and develops departmental level project/program policies processes, standards, governance, and metrics
Makes recommendations for improving efficiency, product delivery and expense reduction in programs
Implements industry best practices and standards where applicable
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience
Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required
Normally requires a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the field of project management with proven success managing complex business initiatives
Experience in Supply Chain industry preferred
Fluent English
Understands program/project roadmap and key milestones regarding criticality, downstream impact if dates are missed and determines alternative/mitigating actions
Able to provide a program level view / status and uses the information to communicate with diverse stakeholders
Strong presentation and communication skills
Demonstrated professional and effective interpersonal skills
Able to manage multiple dependencies and impacts to the project/program
Sold foundation of Smart Sheet, Microsoft Project or similar project planning tools
Able to use various tools to develop, manage & track project budgets
Able to model different mitigation plans and make and recommendations
Able to extract the information to analyze intersecting projects and departmental level allocations
When needed, utilizes the information in MS Project as part of a tool kit that communicates status based on the needs of the project or program
Can use MS Outlook to schedule meetings with internal and external resources in multiple locations
Proficient with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio
