Carriera is partnering with a well-established construction consultancy to recruit a Senior Project Manager for their Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking to work across a strong pipeline of industrial, logistics projects within a collaborative and growing team. The role will see you managing projects from feasibility through to completion, taking ownership across delivery, stakeholder management, commercial performance and programme management on a range of live operational schemes.
Job Responsibility
Lead projects through all stages from initial brief and feasibility through to completion and handover
Manage industrial and logistics projects across live operational environments
Coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations
Prepare and manage project programmes, progress reports and key stage reporting throughout the full project lifecycle
Chair project meetings, manage stakeholder communication and provide clear updates to clients and senior teams
Support procurement, tender and contractor appointment processes, including managing contractor queries during bidding stages
Administer NEC and JCT contracts, managing commercial, contractual and risk-related matters effectively
Ensure projects are delivered in line with Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality standards
Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for further business development
Requirements
Experience delivering industrial, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing projects from inception through to completion
Strong working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts and contract administration
Degree qualified within Construction Project Management or a related construction discipline
Nice to have
Previous consultancy experience would be advantageous
MRICS, MAPM or working towards chartership would be beneficial
