Job Description:

Our client, a leading Canadian financial institution, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support their Insider Risk team on a high-visibility, enterprise-wide case management transition project. This is a one-year contract role with potential for extension, and offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid model under the corporate security schedule at their downtown Toronto office.

Job Responsibility:

Lead end-to-end project delivery including planning, requirements gathering, design, testing, and implementation
Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables while tracking deviations and proposing corrective actions
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including executives, to present updates and project milestones
Support the transition to a new corporate security case management system (Resolver)
Provide 25% support to a secondary manager on related initiatives
Ensure compliance with internal project management frameworks and business standards
Mentor and coordinate the efforts of other project contributors

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a financial institution
Strong experience with MS Project and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas like SUM)
Advanced presentation and reporting skills (PowerPoint)
Experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder management

Nice to have:

Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software
Prior involvement in Resolver implementation projects
Background as a Business Analyst
Proficiency with Visio
Experience working in risk or security-related environments
