Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex, multi-phase software development and integration program for a global leader in threat detection and screening technologies. This is a high-impact Leadership role for a seasoned Project Manager who thrives in complex, mission-critical environments, can navigate technical and business challenges with precision, and inspires teams to deliver exceptional results. Within a senior Leadership role, you will be responsible for orchestrating architecture definition, core development, system integration, resilience validation, and final acceptance. You will work closely with technical Leadership, cross-functional engineering teams, QA specialists, and stakeholders to deliver a mission-critical solution meeting the highest standards of performance, security, and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of the project, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments, technical requirements, and business objectives under time pressure
  • Define and maintain the project scope, objectives, and KPIs, ensuring measurable success across all phases
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, balancing priorities across multiple work streams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Client’s stakeholders and Delivery Teams
  • Provide structured, transparent reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and budget status
  • Facilitate decision-making sessions with the Client’s executives, Technical Leaders, and Business Analysts
  • Coordinate and motivate distributed teams across back-end, front-end, QA automation, DevOps, UI/UX, and architecture disciplines
  • Ensure effective collaboration between geographically dispersed teams in Poland, Western Ukraine, and EU delivery hubs
  • Mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks proactively
  • navigate contingency plans
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, including automated and manual testing, performance optimization, and security validation
  • Ensure compliance with the industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client-specific security protocols
  • Apply and adapt Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to suit project complexity and stakeholders’ needs
  • Lead sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and release planning
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, tools, and communication flows

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial experience in IT Project Management, with at least 3 years in senior Leadership roles delivering enterprise-scale projects
  • A proven track record in managing multi-phase, high-complexity projects involving architecture, development, integration, and validation
  • Experience in budget planning and delivering projects within financial constraints
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultural contexts
  • English level – Advanced (both written and verbal)

Nice to have:

  • Experience in security-critical or high-reliability systems projects
  • Background in Business Analysis or technical roles
  • Familiarity with SAFe or scaled Agile delivery models
  • Experience in integration projects involving APIs, workflow logic, and third-party systems
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to high-security environments
