Finance & Billing Implementation. About the Organisation A confidential, multi-organisation initiative currently progressing a major Finance and Billing system from RFP through to full implementation. This is a complex, high-visibility programme requiring genuine cross-organisational leadership and not a single-stakeholder delivery role. About the Role This 6-month contract sits at a critical stage. The project is moving from RFP into vendor selection and delivery. You'll lead the implementation through to live operation, working across 5+ stakeholder organisations with differing priorities, governance models, and reporting lines. Weekly travel to Wellington involved.
Job Responsibility
Leading the project through vendor selection into full implementation
Establishing governance structures across multiple stakeholder groups
Driving planning, mobilisation and delivery
Managing vendor performance and delivery outcomes
Reporting clearly on status, risk, issues and dependencies
Aligning multiple organisations around a shared delivery outcome
Requirements
Valid NZ work rights
10+ years delivering large-scale technology projects
Proven enterprise system implementation experience - ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc) or Financials or Billing systems highly regarded
Experience operating across complex, multi-organisation environments
Strong senior executive stakeholder management
Comfortable bringing structure to ambiguous, unscoped environments
Solid governance, risk and issue management capability
