Our Advisors Client Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Mastercard Advisors works with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants. The Advisors Client Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Program Management experts lead clients through business transformations by implementing strategically important Mastercard assets and services to bring value and drive growth. They serve as the Center of Engagement across all stakeholders within Mastercard and the client’s organization.
Job Responsibility:
Lead client engagements and workstreams for large enterprise-level programs across a range of industries, problem statements, and cultures
Promote proven, accredited project and change management methodologies and techniques to help clients drive measurable value from initiation to benefit realization
Mitigate risks, solve issues, and ensure plan remains in line with agreed timescales, budgets, and quality criteria
Identify new business opportunities and communicate to executives to pursue, leading sales calls and client development including proposal contribution
Own key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders and independently assess client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness
Lead team to creative insights and sound business recommendations, and deliver impactful and influential client presentations while growing team members’ roles and skills
Provide expertise and day-to-day project delivery team leadership, supporting evolution of solutions with innovation and create a collaborative and inclusive environment for all levels
Manage relationship with internal Mastercard leadership and stakeholders and build the firm's intellectual capital
Effectively leverage subject matter experts to develop best customized solutions
Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members, including evaluating performance, and providing feedback
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree with work experience in project management and change management methodologies and techniques
Minimum 6+ years of Project Management experience
Exposure to financial institutions, payments, and/or retail banking or merchants in Sweden, the Nordic region and internationally
Experience coaching and managing teams across multiple projects and/or engagements with third parties (preferably FinTechs or platform providers)
Experience leading technical development and technical implementation of solutions, technical migrations and measuring impact on clients' business in the Payments or Financial Services industry
Experience with pre-sales or pre-engagement management including scoping, pricing and resourcing of technical delivery programs
Experience managing key client relationships and various project stakeholders, including C-suite
Knowledge of business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership
Ability to provide perspective on industry and marketplace
Logical, structured thinking
Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to communicate effectively in English (mandatory), Swedish (mandatory), Danish (preferred) and Norwegian (preferred)
Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs
Nice to have:
Experience with commercials and defining new project opportunities with clients
Experience with people management
Consulting experience preferred
Have completed or interested in pursuing recognized professional accreditation, such as Project Management Professional (PMP)
Knowledge of Project Management tools
Experience generating new knowledge or creating innovative solutions for a firm
MBA or master’s degree with relevant specialization (not required)
