Our client is seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to lead the engineering and execution of large-scale utility solar projects. This role owns the full design lifecycle, coordinates multidisciplinary engineering teams, and serves as the primary client interface to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specifications.
Job Responsibility:
Lead project execution plans, schedules, and resource forecasts
Manage the engineering lifecycle from early design through IFC, PE stamps, and as-builts
Coordinate civil, structural, electrical, and protection engineering disciplines
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, utilities, AHJs, and EPC partners
Track milestones, budgets, risks, and change orders
Resolve interconnection, permitting, and utility review issues
Ensure QA/QC compliance and adherence to codes, standards, and EOR requirements
Support business development through scopes, LOEs, and client presentations
Requirements:
PMP certification (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
5+ years of project management experience in utility-scale solar, BESS, or power engineering
3+ years managing EOR-level design projects
Strong understanding of EPC workflows, permitting, and utility coordination
Proficiency with Smartsheet, MS Project, and PM dashboards
Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
PE license a plus, not required
