Job Description

We're seeking an experienced and connected Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in continuing to grow TSA Riley's presence across the Central North Island, with a core focus on the Waikato and surrounding region. This is a unique opportunity for a senior professional who knows the region well, has strong local networks, and is motivated by the opportunity to build relationships, generate work and deliver high-quality projects in a market with significant long-term potential. You'll operate with a high degree of autonomy while being supported by TSA Riley's established national team across New Zealand and Australia.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and deliver complex client-side projects across Property and Infrastructure sectors within the Central North Island
  • Build, nurture and expand relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key regional stakeholders
  • Act as TSA Riley's senior representative in the region, supporting market presence, reputation and work generation
  • Collaborate closely with project delivery teams across New Zealand and Australia to leverage national capability
  • Support and mentor junior team members as the regional portfolio grows
  • Contribute to strategic planning and longer-term growth opportunities in the region

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualified in construction, engineering, architecture or a related discipline
  • 8+ years' experience delivering complex projects within the New Zealand construction or infrastructure market
  • Proven client-side consultancy experience, ideally across both Property and Infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of the Central North Island market, with established relationships and regional insight
  • Demonstrated ability to build work through trust, reputation and quality delivery
  • Comfortable working independently, with the confidence to operate as a senior regional leader
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication and commercial skills
