Job Description:

A well-established construction consultancy is seeking a confident and driven Senior Project Manager to lead a variety of high-profile, complex construction schemes across the commercial, residential, and public sectors. This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who thrives on responsibility, enjoys building strong client relationships, and wants to play a pivotal role in delivering high-value projects from pre-construction through to completion. The successful Senior Project Manager will be joining a supportive, employee-owned consultancy where staff development is a core focus. Job Responsibility:

Manage full project lifecycles – scope, programme, cost, quality, and delivery
Lead and motivate internal teams and external consultants to ensure successful project outcomes
Maintain close communication with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations throughout
Prepare and maintain risk registers, action plans and financial tracking
Uphold high quality and compliance standards across all project stages
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project delivery
Contribute to the mentoring of junior project team members

Requirements:

Proven experience delivering complex construction projects across various sectors
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and H&S legislation
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficient in project management software and recognised methodologies (e.g. APM, PRINCE2)
Relevant degree (Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field)
Chartered or working towards chartership with RICS, APM, CIOB or equivalent
