Job Description

The Senior Project Manager at NTT DATA will lead multiple IT outsourcing projects, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction. Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, strong project management skills, and excellent communication abilities. A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business is required, with PMP certification preferred. The role is full-time and based in Vietnam.

Job Responsibility

Lead and manage multiple ITO projects concurrently, ensuring successful delivery aligned with client expectations
Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients, maintaining strong relationships and managing communications
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
Monitor and control project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary
Manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are met
Coordinate with internal teams (development, QA, infrastructure, support) to ensure smooth execution
Conduct regular status meetings and provide transparent reporting to clients and senior management
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs)
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and client satisfaction
Support pre-sales activities including proposal development, effort estimation, and client presentations

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in an outsourcing or global delivery environment
Proven track record of managing international clients and distributed teams
Experience in handling project budgets, timelines, and quality metrics
Demonstrated success in delivering projects in a fast-paced, client-facing role
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred
ITIL certification is a plus
Deep understanding of IT outsourcing models, service delivery, and client engagement
Strong project management skills with proven experience in managing large-scale, complex projects
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to manage client expectations, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of accountability, ownership, and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Commercial awareness and ability to manage project financials
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
