Job Description:
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities • Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. • Establish clear roles and responsibilities for team members and stakeholders, and ensure accountability throughout the project. • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and issues. • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and adjust plans as necessary to meet project milestones and deadlines. • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. • Generate opportunities for cross-sell/upsell. • Lead project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status meetings, and stakeholder presentations. • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and productivity. ... • Keep a close eye on the billing v/s deployed components and highlight diversions, if any. • Keep in touch with the customer’s business owners and decision makers to understand their technology needs and upsell / cross-sell where possible. • Ensure compliance with project management best practices, standards, and methodologies. • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting teamwork, creativity, and innovation. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness. • Mentor and coach junior project management staff, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth and development. • Prepare and present project reports, including status reports, budget updates, and post-project evaluations, to senior management and stakeholders.
