Job Description:

In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for leading delivery across one or more complex streams within a high-profile program. Operating in a sophisticated Hybrid environment, you will apply both Waterfall and Agile methodologies to ensure seamless execution, roadmap alignment, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • End-to-End Delivery Leadership: Lead delivery across complex streams, ensuring alignment with the overall Program Roadmap and Release Plans
  • Hybrid Methodology Mastery: Successfully navigate a Hybrid environment, applying Waterfall and Agile methodologies as required to meet program objectives
  • Operational Readiness: Lead the planning and execution of the Operational Readiness stream, partnering with Operations to ensure coordinated go-live readiness and formal sign-off
  • Governance & Reporting: Maintain strong delivery governance, including strict scope control, Jira hygiene, and the use of data-driven reporting (e.g., burndown charts) to provide program-level insights
  • Ceremony Facilitation: Facilitate and lead critical program-level ceremonies, including Program Stand-ups, Quarterly Planning, Showcases, and Retrospectives
  • Integrated Planning: Partner closely with the Program Manager to drive integrated delivery planning, roadmap execution, and critical path visibility
  • Stakeholder & Risk Management: Provide clear, timely status and risk reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums, including the Steering Committee
  • Resource & Budget Management: Manage stream-level budgets, forecasts, and resourcing while identifying and mitigating risks to milestone and release commitments
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage Business Analysts to deliver core requirements, deliverables, and change requests.

Requirements:

  • A Senior Project Manager with a strong general insurance industry background
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, complex projects or streams within an enterprise environment
  • Deep practical knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall frameworks
  • Significant experience in leading "go-live" readiness and transitioning complex projects into business-as-usual (BAU) operations
  • Expert-level proficiency in Jira for delivery tracking and data driven reporting (burndown charts, velocity, etc.)
  • Exceptional ability to identify and unblock issues, manage dependencies, and protect the critical path
  • High-level stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present to Steering Committees and senior leadership
  • Strong experience in budgeting forecasting and resource management within a project context.
