Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the strategic planning and preparatory work for a large-scale technology modernization initiative. This role is focused exclusively on laying the groundwork for future execution, ensuring that all strategic, technical, and organizational elements are aligned for successful delivery in the coming years. The goal is to modernize a legacy application portfolio by transitioning to a secure, cloud-based, and supportable environment while reducing technical debt and improving service delivery.

Job Responsibility:

Develop comprehensive project plans and governance frameworks for multi-year technology programs
Lead the preparatory work for transitioning legacy applications to a secure, cloud-based environment (Azure)
Collaborate with technical teams to conduct data analysis that supports high-level strategic decisions
Facilitate engagement and assess organizational change readiness to ensure project adoption
Assess technical and financial readiness for future execution, including resource estimation and budget submissions
Coordinate across teams to ensure infrastructure, software, and support models align with modern industry standards

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in project management, applying formal theory and methodologies to direct complex, high-profile initiatives
Strong understanding of cloud transformation, enterprise IT modernization, and the transition from on-premises to cloud
Proven ability to navigate sensitive situations and work strategically with high-level stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
Excellent leadership skills with a track record of driving organizational change and building collaborative solutions to complex issues
Strong conceptualization skills to assess emerging trends and develop strategic options for managing complex files
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, and the Office 365 suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
