An independent, well-established construction consultancy based in Manchester is seeking a capable Senior Project Manager to take the lead on a number of exciting mixed-use and retail schemes across the North West. With several new appointments and a strong pipeline of repeat business, this is a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a collaborative and people-focused team. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for delivering projects from pre-planning through to practical completion, acting as the main point of contact for high-profile clients, contractors and consultants. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for leading multiple live schemes concurrently, typically valued between £10m-£60m.
Job Responsibility:
Developing and managing project briefs, scope, and budgets
Contract administration (JCT and NEC) and managing change control
Overseeing the performance of consultant and contractor teams
Supporting Directors with client development and business strategy
Mentoring junior members of the team and contributing to recruitment
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of project management experience in a consultancy
Experience leading projects across retail, mixed-use, or leisure sectors
MRICS, MAPM or equivalent professional status preferred
Commercially astute and confident managing multiple stakeholders
Strong contract knowledge and risk management experience
