Job Description

Amentum is hiring a Senior. Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in environmental remediation and a strong background in earthwork projects to join our growing team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, the successful candidate will assist in delivering environmental solutions for both private and government sector clients, particularly on hazardous waste sites.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading and managing remediation projects
  • Developing and implementing remedial action plans
  • Overseeing earthwork components
  • Conducting site assessments and field activities
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Preparing technical reports
  • Mentoring junior staff
  • Interacting with clients and agencies
  • Staying updated on industry best practices
  • Support proposal efforts
  • Manage projects from inception to completion
  • Work with and lead a project team
  • Prepare remedial work plans and remedial investigation reports, cleanup plans, and final project reports
  • Excel at communications
  • Manage a variety of subcontractors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degrees with 12-yr experience
  • Master's degrees with 10 yr experience
  • PhD degrees with 8-yr experience
  • Experience in environmental remediation projects
  • Active PE or PG licensure in good standing is preferred
  • Ability to obtain professional licensure
  • Experience managing complex projects and navigating regulations
  • Proficiency with environmental software and tools
  • Understanding of geotechnical principles and remediation techniques
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel
