Job Description:

Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of IT and Healthcare? Our Edmonton client is looking for a results-driven leader to coordinate and drive mission-critical initiatives, including financial gap analyses, contract management transformations, and enterprise-level IT projects. This is a high-impact 12-month initial contract opportunity to help shape organizational policies, optimize budgets, and modernize processes in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

The coordination and completion of IT projects
Oversees all aspects of projects
Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project
Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects
Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project

Requirements:

8 Years of Demonstrated experience in developing integrated plans, portfolio and project reporting and communicating progress to senior executives
5 Years of Demonstrated experience leading healthcare portfolios or initiatives of similar size and complexity
5 Years of Experience assisting clients to execute strategies with technology, process, organizational design and IT operations
8 Years of Experience in the development of project documents for a wide variety of initiatives and projects (strategic, business improvement, information technology, etc.)
8 Years of Experience supporting and collaborating directly with stakeholders, external (public users) and internal business areas. Ability to co-ordinate and communicate necessary information well to all clients
8 Years of Experience working with cross-functional teams to understand detailed requirements and align the design to product vision and user needs
5 Years of Senior leadership experience defining project scope, goals and deliverables such as roadmaps, governance, briefing notes, and business cases that support project goals in collaboration with business stakeholders
8 Years of Experience leading project governance, change management and communication activities

Nice to have:

3 Years of Demonstrated experience with data integration between clinical applications in the Canadian eHealth environment
5 Years of Demonstrated experience working as a Change Manager on a large complex custom software application development project in an environment of similar size and complexity to the Government of Alberta
5 Years of Experience in the analysis, development, and integration of complex IT systems
5 Years of Experience in understanding complex businesses questions and framing the right analytical question to solve a business problem
