As the NSW Industrial Sector Lead you will be expected to take a lead role in securing and retaining new local and national work with existing and new industrial sector occupier and landlord clients. To develop new and strategic business opportunities through a strong local network of contacts and business relationships in the Industrial sectors. When delivering complex projects, to accept total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of a project (or projects) from initial establishment to handover and project closure. The project role requires coordinating thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the specific project and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders. As a NSW Industrial Sector Lead , you have a responsibility as a leader to contribute to the development of less experienced colleagues through mentoring and coaching in all aspects of project management.
Job Responsibility:
Take a lead role in securing and retaining new local and national work with existing and new industrial sector occupier and landlord clients
Develop new and strategic business opportunities through a strong local network of contacts and business relationships in the Industrial sectors
Accept total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of a project from initial establishment to handover and project closure
Coordinate thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants
Contribute to the development of less experienced colleagues through mentoring and coaching
Establish and implement an effective organisation structure for reporting, communication and working procedures
Lead the project team to assemble and effectively lead consultants, contractors and suppliers
Promote JLL to new local prospects and key local landlord clients
Seek out and develop new business relationships and generate new revenue from local landlords
Target and generate new industrial sector clients
Develop relationships with other business lines within JLL
Represent the client’s best interests from inception to completion of the project
Establish and maintain a positive client relationship
Requirements:
Degree in a relevant Project or Construction Management related discipline
Fifteen (15) years’ experience in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
