Senior Project Manager – Nuclear, Egis UK. Location: UK-wide, Type: Full-time, Sector Exposure: Nuclear, Water, Environment, Defence. Reporting to the Nuclear Project Lead, you’ll be at the heart of our Project Management delivery capability — supporting clients across the full project delivery lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and supply chain partners to deliver excellent project management services, compliance and performance. Your skills will help shape smarter, safer, and more resilient infrastructure. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring our clients projects and programmes run smoothly and to the highest standards.

  • Strong capability in application of project management practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Customer-centric approach to delivering a high-quality output
  • Proficient technical knowledge of the UK Power Sector and associated primary and secondary assets (Overhead Lines, Substations, Protection & Control, Underground Cables) is preferred but not essential and strong construction backgrounds or other utility knowledge/experience will also be considered
  • Degree or HNC in an engineering discipline, or relevant experience.
  • Must already have the Right to Work in the UK or be able to secure this prior to commencement of the role.

  • Confident communication skills across functions – written and verbal with the ability to adapt to differing audiences.

  • Ability to integrate inputs across people, process, technology, and regulatory interfaces
  • In depth knowledge of CDM regulations and risk management
  • Familiarity with the full construction lifecycle
  • Fully conversant with all commonly utilised office IT packages as well as industry specific systems (e.g. contract management)
  • Experience of common PM methodologies and systems (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Prince2)
  • A strong appetite for continuous learning and self development
  • Bachelor's or master's Degree qualification in a related subject
  • Full Membership of chartered body such APM at MAPM or working towards chartership.
  • Valid CSCS card
  • NEC (3/4) accreditation (preferred)
  • Right to work in the UK
