Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Identity Project Manager to lead and deliver enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) transformation initiatives. This role will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of identity platforms and services, including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, within a complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient identity services that support business operations and cybersecurity objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Identity and Access Management (IAM) programmes and projects
  • Manage implementation and integration of identity platforms including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and SSO solutions
  • Define and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate across multiple technical teams including security, infrastructure, application, and cloud engineering teams
  • Ensure alignment of identity solutions with cybersecurity policies, compliance standards, and enterprise architecture
  • Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs and proactively drive mitigation actions
  • Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and regular status reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined, tracked, and delivered
  • Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners where applicable
  • Ensure smooth transition from build to operational support, including documentation and handover processes
  • Support identity strategy initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of IAM capabilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering Identity / IAM transformation programmes
  • Strong hands-on experience with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, authentication, and access governance principles
  • Experience delivering large-scale enterprise IT or cybersecurity transformation projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership and technical teams
  • Experience managing complex, multi-workstream environments with multiple dependencies
  • Strong governance, reporting, and delivery tracking capability
  • Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and cross-functional delivery teams effectively
  • Experience working in regulated, security-driven, or large enterprise environments preferred

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Zero Trust architecture or identity-first security models
  • Understanding of cloud environments (Azure / hybrid identity setups)
  • Experience in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with ITIL / Agile delivery methodologies
