Job Description:

The Sr Project Manager (Hospitality Design & Construction) is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, coordination, and execution of capital and renovation projects within the Sports & Entertainment and Convention Center division. This role supports the VP of Design and Construction by leading project teams, managing timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships, and ensuring all design and construction initiatives align with operational goals and brand standards. The Senior PM will play a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget across a diverse portfolio of high-profile venues and events.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of design and construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting through execution and closeout
  • Collaborate with operations, culinary, and IT teams to ensure functional requirements are translated into project design and delivery
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, and cost control, ensuring timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits and manage relationships with general contractors, design consultants, architects, and local jurisdiction representatives
  • Ensure all projects are compliant with relevant building codes, health department regulations, and safety protocols
  • Prepare and present executive-level project updates and dashboards to VP of Design and Construction and other senior leadership
  • Support RFP processes, contract negotiations, and procurement of equipment, services, and materials
  • Integrate emerging technologies and sustainability practices into project planning and execution
  • Develop standardized processes and toolkits to drive consistency and efficiency across multiple concurrent projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field required
  • Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in project management, ideally in the hospitality, sports & entertainment, or convention center industries
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale food & beverage or guest experience-focused construction projects
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, kitchen design, and food service equipment integration
  • Experience working in complex, operationally active environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel as needed to support national or regional projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Pacer
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and construction plan reading
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Nice to have:

Experience with LEED standards or other sustainable design certifications is a plus
