Job Description

The Senior Project Manager for G&A Applications leads technology initiatives that support General & Administrative (G&A) functions- including HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Corporate Operations. This role will lead strategic projects for the group like ERP unification, or an EPM implementation, overseeing a cross functional team to deliver within scope, agreed upon quality, and within time and cost constraints. These factors may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management to deliver business value. Within our current tech stack, we use solutions like NetSuite, SAP by Design, ChargeBee, Lucca, Spendesk, Docusign, … This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive effective planning, execution, and adoption of the G&A systems, and potentially other enterprise applications and process improvements.

Job Responsibility

  • Project definition & planning: Support functional team to scope their project taking into account all potential stakeholders
  • Support creation of and review project plans with functional teams to determine project: Key objectives & deliverables, Milestones Risk to mitigated Staff needs,Task allocation Project time frame
  • Establish work plans and effort for project activities, iterations or phases
  • Review/approve the work plan of an external service provider or consultancy contracted to execute projects
  • Work with line managers to identify project personnel, and assign their duties and responsibilities
  • Project execution Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure project goals and success criteria are met, in schedule & budget
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff on project deliverables and define the work plan
  • Identify and track risks and mitigation plans
  • Implement a project communication plan, to ensure each level of the organization, receive adequate level of information regularly
  • Project processes continuous improvement
  • Act as a coach to Business Process Owners, Key Relays, Junior IT G&A team members, and others who need assistance and advice regarding project management practices
  • Benchmark project management performance continuously to identify the potential for improvements in project management

Requirements

  • Master Degree in information systems, engineering, or business administration
  • Seven or more years of IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
  • Five to seven years of successfully managing complex and risky G&A projects, with at least 4 years of management of financial projects
  • Experience leading ERP implementations
  • Experience in leading cross functional & international teams
  • Experience with end-to-end technical deployments to multiple audiences across an organization
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs
  • Ability to understand multiple different functional needs and IT requirements
  • Ability to adapt to new circumstances in a changing business environment
  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations, and effective influencing and negotiating skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major, defined program management approaches
  • Good understanding of current and emerging technologies such as AI
  • Fluent in French and English

  • Project management certification will be a plus
