We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for Energy Solutions who will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of solar energy projects. This role is essential in coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of solar energy systems.
Job Responsibility:
Planning project execution based on project requirements and adhering to company procedures
Planning and controlling project schedule, budget and resource utilization
Controlling the overall project performance and quality and ensuring compliance with the project goals
Organizing and managing project teams and coordinating all processes by exercising operational control over the project activities
Planning, managing and controlling the project procurement processes, storage and use of the materials required for the project implementation
Managing and communicating with all project stakeholders such as customers, subcontractors and suppliers
Maintaining up-to-date project documentation on internal systems related to project tracking and management
Providing regular project reporting as per the company policies and procedures
Assisting sales and presales team in preparation and submission of bids and tenders
Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial performance aligns with project goals
Oversee quality assurance and ensure all deliverables meet company standards and client expectations
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry codes (e.g., NEC, IEC)
Act as the primary point of contact with clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progression
Requirements:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or other related
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects
Proven experience managing large-scale or complex solar installations from start to finish
Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project
Knowledge of solar PV systems and familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, or Helioscope is a plus
Experience in the field of construction and knowledge of Construction Law is considered an asset
Experience in managing a diverse team of professionals and delegating tasks and responsibilities
Excellent organizational and communication skills
PMP project management certificate is considered as an advantage
Command of English – written and spoken is considered as an advantage
Computer literacy / MS Office, MS Project
Ability to work in a team and dynamic environment
Nice to have:
Knowledge of solar PV systems and familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, or Helioscope
Experience in the field of construction and knowledge of Construction Law
PMP project management certificate
Command of English – written and spoken
