Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, Delivery, a senior client-facing role accountable for defining client solution needs and leading the delivery of complex enterprise and institutional solutions. This role owns the delivery lifecycle for assigned engagements, from early solution shaping and delivery planning through execution, operational readiness, and steady-state outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team to scale the delivery of financial services solutions
  • Own the end-to-end solution delivery lifecycle for complex enterprise and institutional client engagements, from early solution definition and delivery shaping through implementation, go-live, and steady-state operations
  • Partner with clients and Commercial teams during pre-sales and deal shaping to define solution needs, delivery scope, success criteria, and operational expectations
  • Translate solution requirements into executable delivery plans, ensuring scope, timelines, costs, dependencies, and risks are clearly defined and agreed
  • Plan and manage multi-workstream delivery programs, establishing project governance, reporting frameworks, and execution rhythms across delivery teams
  • Act as the senior delivery authority and escalation point for assigned programs, accountable for solution outcomes, quality, client satisfaction, and program-level execution
  • Ensure solutions are designed and planned for delivery by working closely with Industry Architecture, Integration, Product, and Engineering to validate feasibility and execution approach
  • Lead delivery planning and orchestration, including resource allocation, vendor coordination, dependency management, milestone tracking, risk management, and change control
  • Track progress against milestones, budgets, and delivery commitments, ensuring early identification of deviations and implementing corrective actions
  • Drive dependency management across Engineering, Product, Integration, vendors, and client teams to ensure coordinated execution
  • Own operational readiness and transition to run, including testing coordination, go-live planning, support models, and handover to long-term operations teams
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet contractual, regulatory, and operational commitments, including SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements
  • Provide clear, executive-level reporting to internal leadership and client stakeholders on delivery status, risks, and outcomes
  • Represent delivery and solution execution in client steering committees and internal leadership discussions
  • Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, project management frameworks, tooling, and execution practices

Requirements

  • 7–12 years of experience in enterprise delivery leadership, program management, or project management within banking, financial services, fintech, or technology infrastructure environments
  • Proven leadership in building and managing high-performing teams, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities
  • Proven success delivering large-scale, complex, multi-system solutions and managing multi-workstream delivery programs in regulated environments
  • Demonstrated ability to define, shape, and deliver complex client solutions while maintaining rigorous program and project management discipline
  • Strong experience delivering solutions across banking, custody, payments, or capital markets
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams spanning Engineering, Product, Integration, and external partners
  • Deep understanding of solution delivery governance, project governance frameworks, dependency management, risk control, and operational readiness
  • Strong familiarity with modern delivery environments, including cloud, hybrid deployments, DevOps, and CI/CD-driven execution
  • Familiarity with agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery models and ability to apply appropriate methodologies based on context
  • Ability to operate confidently with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership
  • Exceptional communication, organization, stakeholder management, and execution skills
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies, demonstrating high-quality and high-touch customer engagement throughout all phases of delivery
  • Languages: Swiss German, German, and English required
  • French highly preferred for Geneva market
  • Italian a plus
  • Location: Switzerland, with focus on Zurich and Geneva as primary locations

Nice to have

  • Experience delivering blockchain, digital asset, or crypto infrastructure projects in institutional environments
  • Exposure to core banking platforms (e.g. Avaloq, Temenos, Sopra or similar)
  • Background in managed services, long-term client operations, support organization leadership, consulting, or system integration organizations
  • PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or similar project management certifications
  • Interest in progressing into Director-level delivery or service leadership roles
