The Construction Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing new store builds and remodel projects across the retail portfolio. This role oversees project budgets and schedules, manages construction documentation, secures permits, leads contractor bidding and negotiations, and ensures successful project delivery from initiation through closeout.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with internal Real Estate teams, Operations, external developers, and contractors to scope, budget, and document construction projects. Present project proposals at REC meetings
Lead end‑to‑end construction management for new store builds and remodels, ensuring projects meet CVS Health design standards, quality expectations, timelines, and budget requirements
Oversee approximately $50 million in annual capital and expense budgets, ensuring strong financial discipline and tracking
Collaborate with cross‑functional internal and external partners to provide services that support project delivery
Conduct regular site visits to verify construction progress, adherence to plans and specifications, and compliance with safety and quality standards
Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying and resolving issues proactively
Represent CVS Health with city and state agencies throughout planning, permitting, and construction processes
Manage punch lists and drive a timely and complete project closeout process, including documentation and turnover
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in all aspects of the design and construction process, including standards, permitting, and cost management
Ability to travel primarily across the Northeast, with flexibility to support projects across the U.S. as needed
