Job Description

A growing construction consultancy in London is seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Senior Project Manager to join their expanding residential team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Senior Project Manager to lead projects from day one across a strong pipeline of residential developments for housing associations and build-to-rent clients. The successful Senior Project Manager will work on schemes ranging from 150 to 400 units, covering both pre-construction and post-contract delivery phases. This consultancy is looking for a proactive and client-facing Senior Project Manager who can independently manage projects and build strong stakeholder relationships from the outset. The incoming Senior Project Manager will join a collaborative and supportive team environment with clear progression opportunities, exposure to major London residential developments, and flexible working with 1 day per week from home. You must have prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead residential projects through all stages of delivery
  • Managing programmes, procurement, consultants, contractors, and client relationships throughout the project lifecycle

  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Taking ownership of schemes immediately while supporting junior team members and maintaining excellent client relationships

Requirements

  • Prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager
  • Strong construction consultancy experience
  • Proven residential project delivery experience
  • Experience working on housing association or build-to-rent schemes
  • Experience delivering projects from pre-construction through to completion
  • Degree qualified in Construction Project Management or similar
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent understanding of JCT contracts and project delivery processes

Nice to have

MRICS, MAPM, or MCIOB chartership preferred
