Job Description

The ideal candidate holds an engineering background or an equivalent qualification and has at least five years of proven experience in the development of energy-intensive infrastructure, for example in renewable energy projects within international environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development of energy-intensive assets, such as BESS and Data Centers, managing the full project lifecycle from early-stage development through to completion. This client-side position offers the opportunity to work within a leading development platform that is part of an integrated capital investment group, delivering projects across Southern Europe.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of data center and power infrastructure projects throughout all development project phases, including: site selection, due diligence, design, permitting, utility connection and construction
  • Provide strong project leadership, ensuring alignment across interdisciplinary teams, resolving blockers, and driving projects toward RTB and construction readiness
  • Act as a key company representative in Italy, ensuring excellence in the execution and delivery of the portfolio projects
  • Manage relationships and coordinate with external stakeholders, including: development partners, contractors, landowners, utilities and public entities

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the development process for infrastructure projects in Italy (site selection, due diligence, utility connection, permitting process, etc.)
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Data Centers or BESS development projects is a strong plus
  • Fluency in English & Italian
  • Available for frequent travel for site visits, stakeholder meetings and industry events, primarily within Italy, with occasional international trips
