Job Description:

Prime Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our growing and dynamic design teams in the Food and Beverage Markets. You will collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal design teams to ensure projects are executed with precision and adherence to the highest industry standards. Your expertise in project management and the design engineering industry will be essential in leading multidisciplinary teams to completion of challenging and technically complex projects. This position will cultivate relationships with existing and new clients within our target markets and support sales and client management growth within the market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead high-performing cross-functional team by skillfully cultivating valuable partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Project management of design team from concept through project completion
  • Develop project plans to define scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements
  • Lead project meetings to communicate progress, issues, and needs
  • Create project schedule (MS Project or similar) to manage resource, information, and time constraints
  • Accountability for project budget and finances for all disciplines
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks
  • Review deliverables to ensure compliance with project scope, client and company standards
  • Coordinate with project subconsultants, vendors, and suppliers as needed
  • Actively seek and pursue new opportunities within target markets
  • Function as account manager for strategic accounts and as primary contact for projects
  • Develop pricing estimates for proposals and ensure market-competitive pricing
  • Create winning proposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain licensure preferred
  • 7+ years of consulting project management experience in Industrial and/or food and beverage markets preferred
  • Client management experience with history of fostering new opportunities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects and react to changing client expectations
  • Proficient in project management tools and software including Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes including hygienic design principles
  • Demonstrated success in management of a variety of technically challenging projects – planning, design, permitting, and construction administration
