Requirements

7+ years of project or program management experience, including AI/ML or data-driven initiatives
Direct experience in Broker Dealer & Wealth Management environments (required)
Proven delivery experience in financial services or highly regulated environments
Hands-on experience managing large, complex programs with minimal supervision
Strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle: data pipelines, model training/testing, evaluation, deployment, and MLOps
Working knowledge of data quality, governance, bias, privacy, and ethical AI considerations
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and AI/engineering tools (e.g., Jira, Git, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Define and manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, resources, and quality
Create and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and reporting
Lead cross-functional teams including data scientists, ML engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders

Requirements

Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
8-10 years of hands-on experience managing all aspects of IT projects in large project management and program management in Government jurisdictions and or large private sector organizations
Extensive experience in AI project implementation
Strong Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and MS Office
Good knowledge of municipal and interrelated government legislation, policies and procedures
Demonstrated expertise in scope and timeline management, budget and resource management, risk and issue management, and organizational change management
Proven ability in business transformation, critical path identification, and timely decision-making across complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Extensive experience with traditional and innovative project management processes, techniques, and tools across agile, waterfall, and iterative methods
Project excellence spanning Governance, Definition, Planning, Project Management & Control, Financials and Close-out

Job Responsibility

Ensure project technical deliverables arrive within agreed scope, quality, timelines, and cost using project management tools and methodologies
Lead and manage all stages of the project lifecycle
Lead and manage the development of detailed scope requirements, budgeting, resource management, planning and scheduling, monitoring, and reporting progress

reviewing, preparing and executing change requests
Develop, manage and report on detailed project plans of varying levels of complexity that make major business transformations
Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including the project charter, project plan and schedule, progress, budget, risk management, issue management, change management, resource management, quality review/best practices
Lead teams of technical staff, client representatives, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other intra/interdivisional stakeholders to implement projects effectively
Lead, facilitate and contribute to the design, creation, development, and sustainment of corporate standards for Technology Services, including formalized project management methodology, change management, application development and migration
Lead, participate in or oversees the preparation of or prepares and/or supervises the preparation of various formal contractual documents such as: Request for Expression of Interest (REOI), Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation/Resource (RFI/P/Q/R), ITAPP, Statement of Work (SOW), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Service Level Agreements (SLA)
