The Peter Underwood Centre for Educational Attainment is a partnership between the University of Tasmania and the Tasmanian State Government, associated with the Office of the Governor of Tasmania, and focused on improving education outcomes across the state. The Centre leads the University's strategic focus on education transitions and attainment. The Senior Project Lead manages the coordination and delivery of a pilot project funded by the Aram and Lailani Foundation. The fixed-term project will design, implement, and evaluate the community-led program in a regional Tasmanian community. Leading and partnering with the Project Lead and broader Centre team, the Senior Project Lead oversees the integration of project activities, ensuring alignment across research, community engagement, and program delivery. This includes supporting a community-embedded model of practice where University staff work alongside local stakeholders to understand community strengths and aspirations, co-design learning opportunities, and connect these with University programs such as the Children's University, as well as regional Study and Jobs Hubs.
